As an LLM Student Representative, Simone Michaud has been a passionate advocate for her peers, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs addressed. Her dedication to fostering a supportive academic environment has made a significant impact on the student community. Simone has worked closely with faculty and university leadership to address student concerns, improve resources, and enhance the overall educational experience for postgraduate law students. Empowering Women as a Speaker at the Women's Parliament

As a speaker at the UK Women’s Parliament, Simone delivered an impactful address on the economic rights of women and girls, tackling pressing issues such as the wage and pensions gap, and the role of AI-driven biases in perpetuating inequality. Her advocacy for the transposition of CEDAW provisions into UK domestic law as a Women’s Bill of Rights inspired action among attendees, fostering awareness and dialogue on critical gender equality issues. Through her thoughtful leadership and commitment to change, Simone has not only elevated conversations on women’s rights but has also empowered students and professionals alike to engage in meaningful action.
